Guess where the Ryan’s visited today! Asheville, North Carolina. P.J.’s parents are visiting from New Jersey and so we decided to take a day trip over the beautiful mountain and into Asheville. If you haven’t been to Asheville it is a cool town to visit. We spent the day walking around downtown and visiting many creative little shops. The kids actually enjoyed it as well and learned a new word, bohemian. My mother-in-law used this word to define Asheville and I must say I agree. Bohemian- somebody who leads an alternative lifestyle, they are not hippies because they can have an extremly wide range of different tastes in music, fashion, art, literature etc they are usually very creative people. Asheville is FULL of art and creativity. We enjoyed our day.
